The Big Film Photowalk 2025 🎉 - St. Albans Route

  • British Heritage Documentary Photographer (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Welcome to the Biggest Concurrent UK Film Photowalk of 2025!

With multiple locations around the country, our plan is that everyone will be within a reasonable distance from a photowalk that suits them 🤩 You can read about last year's successful inaugural event here: What Went Down At Big Film Photowalk 24

Organised in partnership with Kodak 🎞️ and Pentax 📸

Leaders Wanted!

If you don't see your location here, then why not sign up to be a walk leader? Express your interest via this quick form: Big Film Photowalk - Leaders Application

Ticket Details

We have created two options for tickets this year, so that people who don't shoot colour/35mm film - or who want to develop their film at home or with another lab - can still join the Walk!

IncludedTicket (Walk Only)Ticket PLUSA guided photowalk in your chosen location, led by an experienced film shooterYes ✅Yes ✅Entry into a competition for 'Best Film Photo' taken on the day - with lots of film goodies up for grabsYes ✅Yes ✅TWO rolls of Kodak Pro Image 35mm colour film*No ❌Yes ✅FREE development and scanning of ONE roll of colour 35mm film with Analogue Wonderland**No ❌Yes ✅

*Please note that these will be handed out by Photowalk Leaders at the start of the event and NOT sent out in advance

**Important Notes on the Free Film Processing

The free development and scanning only applies if you hand the roll of film back to your Photowalk leader at the end of the event, for consolidated sending back to our lab. We expect you to have finished one roll of film during the walk, and probably be halfway through the second!

If you haven't finished your first roll of film at the end of the walk - or you want to send in extra rolls of film - then please place a separate processing order through our lab at your earliest convenience.

The development will be: Colour 35mm, Standard Scans, Correct and Rotate editing package. If you wish for different options for your film please talk to the lab after the event and they'll be happy to arrange, and charge for any difference.

You will have the opportunity to order prints from your film after seeing the scans - this service is not included in the free development offer.

Details of Photowalks

All the information about the Photowalks will be added to this page as photowalk leaders and specific route details are finalised. We will also send those details out to ticket-holders in the coming weeks.

Competition

We will run a competition - judged by our partners - for the best film photo taken on the day 🏆 So please bring your creative minds and favourite cameras for a chance to win serious goodies.
